Shiv Sena mouthpiece ‘Saamna’ today described Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan as the ‘Mahanayak of the country’ and asked the people not to involve him in the debate of birth place (janmabhoomi) and working place (karmbhoomi).

In an editorial, titled ‘Maharashtrat he kadhi ghadel’ (when this can happen in Maharashtra), Mr Thackeray stated that if the rulers of the state forward any development proposal to Mr Bachchan, he would definitely accept.
