Amitabh Bachchan launches Marathi musicians Ajay-Atul’s website
Feb 8, 2010: National Award winning Marathi Music Directors Ajay and Atul Gogavale launched their official website at a five star hotel amidst much fanfare.
The website was launched by none other than the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, who came in to congratulate the talented musicians and presented them with his best wishes.
The event started with a speech from Mahesh Manjrekar, who bestowed his best wishes to the duo, followed by music composer Shri Pyarelal. Amitabh Bachchan wished Ajay-Atul for their achievement before inaugurating the website by cutting a mock ribbon on the screen while the rest cheered him.
The website will have all the information about the music directors– from their wallpapers to all their songs, trivia, etc. The site will also have a blog by the duo an also a forum to promote their music. The sibling duo Ajay-Atul also celebrated their unprecedented success at the ‘56th National Film Awards’ for winning the ‘National Film Award for Best Music Direction’ for their Marathi film ‘Jogwa’.
MNS leader Raj Thackeray arrived at the event after Mr. Bachchan left. He wished the duo for their success at National Awards and their website launch.
A lot of celebrities from the Marathi film industry came to extend their well wishes to the duo.
