Paa Premiere Plans
Paa’s premiere in Mumbai on December 3rd is set to start with Abhishek Bachchan entering the premiere carrying his Paa, Amitabh Bachchan on piggyback. This was Abhishek’s idea and he wants to go ahead with it, despite Amitabh trying to dissuade him as it may have a bad effect on Abhi’s back.
Paa’s premiere venue will be decorated like a child’s nursery. Paa is being depended upon to be a success as it is AB Corp’s first film in five years. Amitabh was supposed to, initially, be dressed up as Auro, his character in the film. But they decided against the idea, as the makeup artist would have to especially be flown in from the US and Amitabh as Auro would prove to be distracting for the guests.
Amitabh will receive the guests at the premiere along with the six child actors who play his friends in the film –Nimit, Pratik, Taruni, Varun, Gaurav and Dhruven. All friends of the Bachchans’ are invited to the premiere.
Paa is dealing with a serious disease Progeria but dad-son duo seems to make fun of it. If they wanted to make a comedy movie they should have chosen some other subject.
Progeria is such a serious and fatal disease that any attempt to extract even iota of humor out of it is inhuman.
Aamir Khan’s promotion of Taare Zameen Par was an epitome of sensible approach towards film promotion and social responsibility. And we all know it paid off.
The way they are mocking the film, shows that the Bachchans dont understand new age film marketing. No wonder Bachchans, despite having the best of talents, are finding difficult to deliver any Box Office success. Sarkar Raj was the victim of pathetic marketing and wrong timing.
They need to lean how to position the film and who are the prime target audience for the movie. The way film is being promoted I can say -Paa will be a Box Office disaster.
Rohit-Thats a terrible comment. I am sure a truly matured director like Balki and Mr.Bachchan would do such a sort of action the way you have highlighted in your comment.

I feel PAA would do great business, lets discuss after the fil hits the screen
well before watching the movie i can’t give any comment.well i don’t know what business it will do but it is must watch film.and i am planning to watch this movie.and as far as making mockery of any disease i don’t think they are doing it.so plz don’t make such comment as nobody knows what is stored in the movie.all the best to paa may this movie do best at the box office.and guys i don’t know why people hold such grudge against bachchan.whatever i am planning to watch this movie with my friends.
