Bon Jovi, Gwen Stefani to sue US bar for copyright violation
London, Nov 22 – Rock star Jon Bon Jovi and singer Gwen Stefani are taking legal action against the owners of a US bar over accusations that they played the stars’ music without authorisation.
The duo want bosses at Sally’s Saloon and Eatery in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to quit using their tracks to entertain patrons following allegations they don’t have the proper music licence, according to a lawsuit filed in the state last month, reports contactmusic.com.
The stars are seeking unspecified damages from the owners.
