Aishwarya-Abhishek reveal love for parents on Oprah Show
Bollywood’s world famous couple- megastars Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan- live with Abhishek’s parents, the couple told “The Oprah Winfrey Show” on September 28.
With about five billion fans globally, Filmfare Award winners Aishwarya Rai (Devdas), 35, and Abhishek Bachchan (Bunty Aur Babli), 33, described it as normal and absolutely natural. Abhishek’s grandparents also lived with them before they passed away.
They have to abide by few household rules also- like having one meal a day together if everybody is in Mumbai, where they live. When they have time for themselves (they appear in five-six movies a year, as compared to one-two films of Hollywood actors), they spend it at home with each other, family and friends, instead of going to exotic places.
The Oprah Winfrey Show, a syndicated talk show, is the highest-rated talk show in American television history.

Great family values to be learned by all of us.
they are rarely there is the house, they are always going around the world for movies, shows especially ash. They have cooks and cleaners in the house and their houses are like mansion. so absolutely there is no problem if they are living with their parents. Also true is the fact that his parents are very rich and they run the house.so obviously ash doesnt want to lose those benefits.rest is all fake.
Excuses excuses excuses. How many have cooks and cleaners in their houses and their houses are like mansions and yet they dread to **** with their parents. We need to learn from Bachchan family instead of finding excuses. Shame on us when we are loosing our culture. Do you really think it is fun to leave parents in the nursing homes? How tragic and depressing it is to leave them where everything is new to them at that age. How often do you visit your parents in the nursing homes? Ofcourse, it sounds fake to you because you do not want to face the realty.
I agree with ya Laxmi. How many of us can claim to **** parents and be proud of it. Many are loosing foot in our culture. So sad for them.
What the ****…..you have to learn culture from these people…
I see that everyone is talking about the family values in India and no one seems to mention the video showing a police officer visibly caining unarmed ordinary citizens who came to visit the couple at their wedding! I wonder how much this occurs? Are police allowed to engage in such visible and unchecked acts of aggression against the “ordinary” indians who pay the ridiculous salaries of these movie stars? If India is going to truly be a superpower and a Democracy at that, its people [fair or dark, rich or poor, educated or uneducated] must be treated with respect and afforded human rights that make up the basic UN Charter. I cannot understand how police or those in authority are allowed to cain, torture and violate the rights of India’s citizens. Where are the laws and rights that protect people? furthermore, if there are such large portions of the indian populace that remain impoverished, what exactly are these overpaid celebrities doing to help the situation? Why would the richest man in India build a tower attempting to go as high as possible instead of trying to build schools, hospitals and increase the infrastructure of India? I suppose it’s more important that the celebrities look good and have “family” values right?
I did see the show,Mr.Abhishek was very natural & Ash very artificial. She used to laugh for no reason.
Beside the Bollywood all the deprived indian people look up to them and stay in the fantasy land.
They both looks alike The couple made for each other. The fabulous fantastic jodi of bollywood.
