Ranbir Rano gets replaced
Ranbir Rano, the star stuck love story featuring Vinay Rohraa and Sakshi Talwar in ZEE TV is in doldrums these days. Firstly, from a 10:30 pm slot, it was shifted to an 11pm slot. The channels latest venture SHREE, supernatural thriller was put in the 10:30pm slot instead. Now, it’s the lead actor Vinay Rohraa who is facing the axe.
Incidentally he is getting replaced by Ravi Dubey of Yehaan ke hum Sikandar fame. Sources quote that the chemistry between Vinay and Sakshi never created ripples and both could not emote as desired. Vinay rubbishes all the reports but acknowledges the fact that he has been replaced. Says he, “Yes, I have been replaced by someone, but I have left the show voluntarily. There is some emergency at home and I have to take a long break. Since it’s a daily soap, it requires my continuous dates, which I cannot provide at the moment. This is something unfortunate but I need a two week break. It’s a matter of life and death for a family member who needs my constant attention. I had no other option but to quit the show since the production house could not grant me leave. It was a mutual decision”.
He has been replaced by Ravi Dubey of Yehaan ke hum Sikandar fame. News is also abuzz that very soon even Sakshi Talwar who plays Rano is also going to be replaced. She is not keeping well these days and is suffering from liver infection.

To the creatives of the show “Ranbir-Rano”, I would like voice my opinion with this matter. I believe that the creatives of the show are definitely not being creative enough and are taking an easy solution out for the problem. The show had started to do well mainly due to the fabulous chemistry between Vinay and Saakshi. Now with Vinay not being there, I am sure the show will go down in its TRPs and eventually go off-air. In my opinion, the track could have been altered a little to cater for the actor’s reasonable needs or use another actor as a temporary replacement instead of a permanent replacement.
I would really hope that the audience voice is heard of and bring back Vinay as soon as he is ready to be back from his personal issues.
To Vinay “it was the chemistry between you and Saakshi which made people like me watch the show” ……we hope and pray that you can be brought back to this show and May God bless you and your family and May all your problems be solved with an ease.
ALL i would like to say is that.. i think this show is one of the best shows i have seen in my life and trust me.. i have seen a LOT but have not liked many at all…. but rounding everything up vinay and saakshi’s chemistry is just amazing and having him replaced is just going to increase the difficulties involved in dis show. GD luck to everyone!!!! still hoping that vinay makes a smashing cumback!!!! “WE luv u!!!!” for vinay and saakshi!!!
i also agree with above two statement, i like this serial for only vinay & sakshi’s good chemistry.
i also suggest that vinay & sakshi don’t be replaced for permanent base. we can adjust for few days for those actors who replaced by other.
if they replaced forever we will not take any interest in this serial in future.

This can’t be true! Ranbir rano is nothing without Vinay! The real hero of this show is Ranbir! This is ridicolous! How can they replace him?!. I watched the programme just because of him, cuz i fell in love with him when i saw him for the first time! Vinay(if ur reading this!) you must be having some family problems, bu please please do not leave us like this. I think the production house should use some brain, and think about those ppl who will stop watching this movie just because of that ranbir is goin to be replaced. If Vinay wants a 2-weeks leave, then let him have that one! One must understand ppls problems. Getting him out of the show, is not the problems soloution! I’ve stopped watching this drama now that Vinay has gone. The producers of this drama don’t know what a big mistake they’re making. No one will want to watch this show now. The so called ‘love’ between ‘Ranbir/Rano’ looks sooo fake now that Ravi is here. They just don’t agree with each other. Vinay suites the role and is made for it. I don’t mind changes as long as they’re good ones. But clearly this is a wrong change and choice. Hope they realise what they’re doing and bring Vinay back.
