Ghajini is an suspense thriller from A.R.Murugadoss who has made popular films of this genre. Ghajini being a remake of a Tamil film. The tamil version of film had Surya and Asin in the lead.
Ghajini is, indubitably, Aamir Khan’s most awaited project till date and he has done a great job in promoting the movie till now. The movie has Aamir Khan in the lead role and Asin plays his love interest.
The story of ‘Ghajini’ is a revenge saga, one ingredient that has been the staple diet of Hindi films in Bollywood since time immemorial. It is, apparently, a powerful film. It has the power to sweep you off your feet from the word ‘go’. It has a riveting story, which has been told with flourish by director A.R. Murugadoss.
The director has succeeded to keep up the suspense throughout the film. The narration goes back and forth several times, before the protagonist looses his memory and after. The script written by the director himself helps to keep up the suspense intact. Good action, and good songs by A.R Rahman and the background score is really noteworthy.
Aamir Khan has done a wonderful job. Be it the bold, energetic business magnate or the wild chaser Aamir has stolen the show. Asin seems full of energy. The two seem to make a real good pair.
Ghajini is a must watch for an Aamir Khan fan and a fulltu paisa vasool movie for a Bollyowod buff.

Ghajini is good….but wats up the songs! Accept guzarish and one sad song all the songs are dumb. Guys who are not used to watching Indian movies can find the movie too long and will dislike the songs. Its stretched for more than 3 hrs. Aamir, Asin and Pradeep all have acted really well. Asin’s bollywood career is launched successfully with this release. Pradeep Rawat is amazin as GHAJINI. This is the best role he has played till date. The background score provided for his character is great and adds dark shade to his character. As usual Aamir rocks!
As said before most of the songs are **** and the music does not have A.R.Rehman touch. The movie does not have a south Indian essence and feels like a original bollywood flick.

Aamir rocks. GHAJINI is a must watch. Aamir’s performance is outstasnding. That guy is truly a genius. Just leave whatever to have to do and rush to the nearest cinema theatre to watch this movie. GHAJINI is totally paisa vasool. Trust me.

nice review. How much money did you took for this review. I just came back watching this movie. Its **** even more than Rab Ne. Both Khan disappoints but atleast Rab Ne had some good scenes. Ghajini is disaster.
It is a totally **** movie. I saw the yesterday’s premier show and think that it is a total waste of money. I don’t know why Amir Khan is called perfectionist, the movie has so much of technical flaws as an example. Amir is MD of large telecom co with short memory, he is taken over by police who doesn’t know who is the person. Total **** and so irritating.
The subject is nevertheless good but dear guys (script writers, directors) why dont you put little more thought in presenting the subject. What was the need for you to show the two female leads as behaving extremely stupid in tough situations.The college student had such good role to play but her act and character was horrendous.
Overall i will not recommend anyone to watch this movie.
If you dont like my review, By next week you will agree when there is real public opinion in press.
I am not SRK fan, i didnt like Rab ne bana di jodi either….

I saw Ghajini Tamil as well as in Hindi, but I found the Hindi is better one.
Aamir khan is the best and he did his best in the film.
1st part is very Romantic and Comic and then the 2nd part consists of Action.
Overall an Awesome Movie.

Well guys, this movie actually is pretty bland, you can better watch Rajnikant movies or for that matter any Tamil action flick with all that mindless flying around incomprehendible action. You know what, even memento wasn’t dat good a movie, Nolan is an excellent director thanks to TDK but Memento was a like 3.5.5 movie. It didnt deserve to made and remade and remade again so many times. Actually, there is a fundamental problem with us and aamir khan. We all have a those flashbacks about him bringing back flicks like DCH, TZP, Lagaan, Ghulam (read Trendsetters, in that order) back again in some more exciting forms. Thus, we would practically be going in theatre with so much eagerness that hardly anyone would understand what actually the rating Ghajini deserves. I say, you just go watch this movie like you went watching Singh is King (King of Dumbest movies of all times) or RNBDJ (Real dumb movie, man how could that sardar guy identify SRK and Anushka can’t , just one instance ) or Golmaal returns ( The real dumbest) so add to these movies this name too.

but it doesnt mean that only aamir can do this,(i would apreciate him for chisling his body to that much perfection,like SRK did),Asin is also good.

For all those who claim to watch only the so called intelligent movies please stay away…and for the rest of us who want to be blown away by the sheer brilliance of Aamirs performance,Asins brilliance and the screenplay and action of this superbly fun filled film..i’ve got just 3 words for you..Go watch immediately Aamir matches Surya scene to scene!
It will definitely be a new experience for Hindi movie goers..
The film is a must watch. Things that leave a lasting impression on your mind are.
* The romance between Aamir and Asin
* The performance of Aamir
* The screenplay which is super fast that you dont even notice that 3 hrs have gone.
* And finally the fact that you want kalpana to know that Sanjay is indeed a rich businessman before she dies ..wow!
and a few more things to note:
* ITS NOT MEMENTO!! The similarity between the two films end with the theme and not the story!
* The linear narration of the movie unlike the very confusing narration in Memento should suit the bollywood fans and will make this a big HIT!
* Even if u have watched the Tamil flick this wont bore u for a second…
* And the last 30 mins of the movie has been changed for the better and whoa..u have one slick movie which has supreme editing !
So if you want to be enthralled for 3 hrs and sit at the edge of your seats..don’t worry about what celebrity reviewers say..even though I believe most will give good ratings for this movie..go and Enjoy!! What are you waiting for??

After a long time I watched Hindi movie Gahjini I frankly tell that it is the mega hit of Bollywood. Aamir really deserve No 1.
Best Action movie of the decade.
Hmmmm…. Tamil version was much better because it was like those south indian movies. But if u look Ghajini(hindi) it actually looks like a south indian movie dubbed in hindi, which is not at all the sign of a perfectionist’s work.
Most bollywood movies are larger than life stories but this is one too much, at least by Amir’s standards.
Apart from Guzarish, rest of the songs are much below bollywood standard. Again these kind of songs could have been good for a south indian movie.
I still believe amir is a gr8 actor but he hasn’t delivered upto the expectations. This is not at all one of the unforgettable performances. I actually want a short term memory loss, i want forget what i watched and i want to forget that amir did a movie like that. I know there are huge advance bookings but if it becomes a hit it’ll be snob hit, you’ll watch it because you want to tell people that you too have seen the movie. In the end I can say “KHODA PAHAD AUR NIKLI CHUHIYA”.
Amir sometimes unusual habits are really useful, this year your habit of not attending award functions will really help you. You can’t show your face there.

I could not understand coz i hav an empty mind,……..
I watched the movie today, and i also have seen the tamil version of it earlier. I say the movie was good (4/5) with just a little more dose of violence. But, the theme of the movie is vengeance, so the violence is justified. This is one of the movies which takes every second of yours with some logical twists and extraordinary screenplay. As far as performances are concerned, asin stole the show, aamir was good especially in the song behka oh behka. It is one of its kind and is a good run for your money. I would say aamir khan has done well and his effort is visible on the screen. He really transformed himself for the role which in my view is what acting is all about. So, pick up ur phone and book the tickets if u want to experience a thriller for 3 hrs. Bye guys, and aamir i am very happy for your effort to mould into the role in the days when people don’t even change their hairstyle for the film. Thank you.

A poor movie in terms of script, I feel the script was poor because you were left with many unanswered questions such as:
1) After reading the (long) diaries, after 15 mins would’t he forget what he has just read.
2) After the main killing incident, what does he actually remember?
3) Why does he remember that he needs to kill Asin’s killer and NOT REMEMBER GHAJANI’s face?
4) Why wasn’t his condition explained properly?
5) Why didn’t Ghajani kill Aamir who was present at the Incident like the way he killed those two girls in the hospital?

Aamir’s, Asin’s and Ghajani’s acting was 5/5, however a very poor script. Some would argue that you should of used your imagination, I would say the script left many unanswered questions as this would complicate the story hence not to focus too much on his condition.
well, ( on 10 performence by Aamir..to hell with script as he has aleady mentioned that its tamil Movie remake…so on acting scale 9 on 10 ..AAMIR YU ROCK….:)

All you guys are crazy of Amir khan. Just go and watch Surya acting in Tamil Ghajini. He was awesome…. Surya was great…. He is a exceptional actor in Tamil….. This tamil movie acted by Surya was dubbed in Telugu and was a massive hit in Telugu as well… It is mind blowing to see Surya acting…. thats why it was a block bluster super duper hit in Tamil and Telugu….
Iam neihter fan of SRK nor Amir Khan. But I liked Hindi Ghajini as well. Amir did a good job but not as great as surya in tamil. But again, Amir Khan is a great actor. SRK is a crowd puller. I like both Amir and SRK. Ghajini is a great movie which has all the commerical dose in it….

Thought Ghajini was very poorly scripted and directed, not having seen the Tamil version, I cant say whether the remake was true to the Tamil one. However, having loved and seen Memento more than once, Ghajini is only a nod to this great film and cannot for once be said to be a remake of Memento. To call it such is an insult to Memento and Christophers Nolans direction.

Sharuk Bhai sirf haklane se movies hit nahi hoti movie mein bhi kuch hona chahiye ya nahi. App ne to buthat disipoint kiya acting achi thi magar movie was fair. Ghajini jesi movie decades mein banti hai aur shyad Aamir hi esa character ker sakta hai after all he is the only versatile actor in bollywood.
Ghazini is a technically superb , brilliantly acted film following a different yet thrilling mode of story telling – but with some flaws in the story ( kalapana dosent bother to know anything about sachin , the ‘gift of the magi’ concept about selling the ambassador car and the mistaken identity based love are 2 cliche , after committing so many murders sanjay is not caught and tried – the police is shown to be 2 naive ,coincidences happen 2 often and the story is written to justify somewhat gory violence ). Amir Khan has delivered the performance of his life , Asin looks beautiful and acts effervescently , Pradip Rawat ( ghazini ) acts superbly BUT Zia Khan ( a perfect mismatch ) is horrible in her accented Hindi . The songs are appropriately
placed in the story , melodious and picturised beautifully .

SRK was seen to be a good actor in the TV serials Fauji and Circus , but his film acting is pathetic most of the time . He looks good only in those somewhat eccentric and energetic characters ( Raju baan gaya gentleman , Yess Boss , Badshah etc. ) and worser than worse in emotional and serious characters . He is no doubt a good showman but can never be
construed to be a good actor .
Amir has slowly developed into an actor’s actor.

IS a blockbuster, bonanza from year 2008 crossing 2 billion within 2 days!! Movie is a love story which lights up different concerns such as short term memory loss, disability, blindness, Trafficking etc… Does it really? No it’s just a love story where hero gets his revenge. One might say; so what? Nobody professed to discuss any issue here. It’s just bollywood’s regular remade – masala – action – romance – movie. Well here is the one fact you don’t know. The characters in the movie, of course not the leading one’s but the little boys and girls showcased as destitute are actually what they are portrayed as in real life. The children are from NGOs across Mumbai. When the shoot was done there were producers, directors crying for these children who had been trafficked, disabled etc …, for their condition. They were given one assurance that they’ll be given credit, their roles will be acknowledged. Let’s just forget the money part which was in hundreds & no one cares about it as idea was not money making but bringing out the burning issue.
Watch it from the beginning until the end of the movie credits… not once have they been acknowledged. This is a movie which has spent millions for the songs. This is how our nation works! Exploitation by the great is always rewarded. What will you tell those children that half of their scenes were removed while editing because Amir Khan’s body is more important than harsh realities of their lives? That they have been forgotten yet again? That it was blessing that they even got a chance? Well it is blood ******* success, repeating the history of profit making enterprises all over the world. Watch Ghajini and acknowledge its brilliance!

Among the present generation heros, Aamir Khan is the most talented, who does a serious and intelligent job in whatever he produces – be it as an actor or a producer. He is the King of Bollywood.
I fail to understand why Sharukh is called King Khan !? Its sheer luck of Sharukh to be in this industry, who, even after more than 2 decades of his acting, cannot balance his dialogue and his expressions… !! Although I am a lover of films, I am yet to see the full length of any Sharukh film…!!
On a scale of 10, I would rate Sharukh and others (Salman, Rithik, bla bla….) at 0.5 except Ajay Devgan, who would score above 5. Ajay is good..!

Watched for about half an hour, realized it is a dubbing of Memento, lost interest and switched the movie. Amir khan is no doubt a good actor but original stories make an actor interesting too.

I watch around 5 movies every year. I have seen Rab ne bana di Jodi and Ghajini. Here is what i would say.
Rab ne banayi jodi is a very good movie and the making of the movie is not rich. Not much efforts were made in marketting,publicity. Even then the movie is very good and shahrukh rocks as usual.Very good story, songs and beautiful heroine!. Shah rukh’s acting is great and the bangalore girl has really done well in her dubut.The story is realistic and mind blowing. A middle class story!
Ghajini is a movie with high expectation and a big budget. Too much of marketing. Some great things are Aamir’s Body, Younger Look, A.R.Rahman’s Music, a already succeded story.Aamir’s acting is fantastic and i really like the action and feel that indian cinema is not less in anything compared to others.Highly energized move.
Now, dont think who is great! aamir or sharukh.
Think which movie is great! But whatever u think, its for u.
Here are some -ve things about ghajini.
1) No attempts has been made to show the transition phase that how a billionaire CEO becomes a 3rd grade killer.
2) Length of the movie is bad if non indians watch this movie.
Here are some -ve things about Rab ne bana di jodi.
1) Its not indian culture. A already married girl’s affair with another guy and she is in love with him.
2)Editing is not good.
Also, iam not biased.
Just imagine what would have happen if Ghajini was released before RNBDJ.
So, stop scratching your A.S.S and go back to work.
To conclude, aamir is creative, takes risks, good entertainer, Suits serius roles, Poor dancer, Doesnt suit comic roles, Not a role model but a good human being.
Shah rukh is Talented, good actor, suits serious & comic roles, no creativity at all, a role model human being.

Now what u say who among d two STARS hyped his movie….though i m not against any who promotes his movie…after he has done all d hard work n given his best…..But people like u say SRK promoted his movie …which really not a truth.!

I liked the english version MEMENTO above all. Still comparing the Tamil and Hindi versions, for various reasons, the Tamil one was better. Surya did an excellent job in the Tamil version whereas this is not Amir’s best peformance. The enigma and the mystery in the eyes of Surya gave greater mileage to the character which is unfortunately lacking in Amir.
