Ghajini is all set to break box office records
Now that Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has released, all eyes are on the Aamir Khan starrer, Ghajini. If one’s gut feeling is anything to go by, Ghajini should get an even bigger initial than RNBDJ. The makers have decided to unleash the film on 24th December now and not on Christmas Day, December 25th. There will be special paid preview shows on Wednesday at the multiplexes across India from evening 7 pm onwards. There will also 2 shows each at major single screens like Eros, Chitra in Mumbai and Delite in Delhi which will be a first.
The film is expected to shatter most opening box office records in India. The main reason being, Ghajini is an action film which will attract the masses while RNBDJ is a family film. The craze is building up by every passing day as Aamir Khan too have gone the King Khan way of aggressively promoting his venture. Also, Ghajini is being released with around 1500 prints worldwide making it the highest number of prints released Bollywood film ever. Sanjay Ramasamy (Surya Sivakumar) is a rich tycoon suffering from short term memory loss due to being hit by a metal pole when trying to intervene on his girlfriend’s murder. Because of the severe injury on his head, his memory can only last for fifteen minutes and he doesn’t remember events or incidents that have happened before in his life. He can now only live a comprehendable life by tattooing notes on himself and taking pictures of things with a Polaroid camera to remind himself of the incidents that have happened. His story in unraveled by a police officer (Riyaz Khan) who is hunting him due to several murders he has committed while trying to find his girlfriend’s murderer through his diary. His story has also piqued the interest of a medical college student, Chitra (Nayanthara) who is searching for a patient with an “interesting” record for her college project. Chitra comes to know about Sanjay’s love with Kalpana (asin) a model *** activist. When her activist work for children comes in the way of child racketeers, she is killed by Lakshman (Pradeep Rawat) when she intervened with his plan of kidnapping 25 young girls to Calcutta. So, with the help of Chitra, Sanjay sets out on a revenge spree, searching for the murderer of the one love of his life…

Biggest Flaw- Short term memory loss…we knew exactly when the 15 minutes was getting over…guess aamir forgot about it…we cudnt see it in his expressions…In the whole movie it was not portrait..But in the end when he is fighting with the villain all of a sudden he remembers that he has to act about the short term memory loss of 15 minutes…
When Jiah Khan first introduces herself and ask him for a coffee…when the camera suddenly buzzes, aamir says it buzzes when its 15 minutes for him to take the photograph…well at the same time he had to not recall his memory…atleast for once he should have asked her who are you…why am I talking to you…
When all the memories are erased from his apartment and his body…Jiah khan comes and gives the two diaries to aamir…he reads them, how can u possibly read the two diaries in 15 minutes…and he doesn’t have to read it again and again…even when he runs after the cop, so much struggle before the cop dies…but all this happens within 15 minutes…guess aamir had to portray him as some super hero…
How did he become so strong…training by himself…Wish the director could have minimized the songs and showed aamir doing the workout or taking some help from professional to get it…

I dont know why everyone is comparing Amir and Shahrukh and who is the best. I watched it on 26 Dec and still today I cant keep this movie out from my mind and thats why came to see the reviews. I have not seen a bollywood movie with such a balanced story of both love and revenge as shown in Ghajini. I suggest watch this movie not becuase this is Amir’s but because it is a great masterpiece.

Aamir Khan is an Excellent & dedicated actor.Like Gajini he has to act in vaireties Roles. Though I have not seen Gajini, I know his cabilities of acting from his previous flims like LAGGAN etc. He has to work with the South Indian Directors in Hindi. All the best.
