Croon to save your career?
Well, Jackie Shroff has been an out of work actor for a while now. So maybe that’s what gives him all the time in the world to try out different things in life.
Now he’ll be heard singing in his next big solo flick, ‘Saibaba’ where he plays the lead role too. The film is expected to be released early in 2009.
Surprisingly music director Jaideep Dutta thinks he’s pulled off a coup, no less. God alone knows what made him think that Jackie’s song would be some big hit!
He’s said, “I’m happy we could have Jackie to sing for the film. I have known him for years now. Whenever I heard him singing Hemant Kumar’s songs I used to wonder when he would sing for me. His voice has depth, melody modulation and he adds drama wherever required. Jackie singing this song is like a dream come true.”
Jackie must be hoping that the movie will get him back his lost status in Bollywood. We have serious doubts though! -(SAMPURN)

Lost status? Jackie is one of the best actors in india and one of the biggest stars around. And the fact that he decided to play sai baba and negative roles and supporting roles only show that he is a true artist, willing to experiment and set new challenges for himself. I am sure he will be great as sai baba. Way to go Jackie!
