Salman Khan to celebrate Ganesh Festival at home
Salman Khan’s family like every year shall be celebrating Maharashtra’s biggest festival, the Ganesh Festival in their home. Despite being Muslims, the Khan family is famous for celebrating all the Indian festivals displaying a true picture of National Integration.
Our source tells, “Salman Khan will be canceling all his scheduled appointments during the one and half day Ganpati celebrations that take place at his house. The Ganesh idol will be brought to Salman’s house on Wednesday morning. There will first be a Puja followed by a grand lunch at the house itself. It will be attended by a select few friends and relatives of the family. Most of the guests visiting for a darshan of the Ganesh idol will start coming in from evening. The kids of Sohail and Arbaaz love this festival a lot and Salman’s youngest sister Arpita too takes a lot of interest in doing the decorations around the Ganesh idol.”
“Amongst those scheduled to visit Salman’s house for Ganpati this year from the film industry are Mithun Chakraborty, Govinda, David Dhawan, Sajid-Wajid, Subhash Ghai and Boney Kapoor. Around two - three years back, Shah Rukh Khan had visited Salman’s house during the Ganesh Festival Now after the spat between the two at the party Salman hosted for Katrina Kaif’s birthday, SRK won’t feature anywhere in Salman’s guests list for sure!” (SAMPURN)
Gee i wonder?? will they be eating at the celebration.. being muslims they should be fasting since its Ramadan.. OOOPS i guess that’s why they pick the celebrations of all religions to have more fun rather than so called unity.
I do not have any problem with any religion. This is really Shameful Salman. Being a muslim how can you do all this in the month of Ramzan. We cannot expect any muslim to do any idol worship and that too in the month of Ramzan. What I am trying to say is first of all Islam does not allow to act in movies or any other related activities which is involved in films. Whatever you people earn through that is considered as Haraaam.
Just listen to what I am going to say…Leave al these…., films, celebrating other festivals that too in Ramadan such a auspicious month, worry about qayamat……..

My understanding is anyone that idol worships or encourgages idol worship is NOT a muslim!
Im just surprised that people call srk, salman etc as muslims.
SRK has an idol in his home for worship.

Well i m happy 2 know that salman celebrates all the festivals he is a true INDIAN.
the khans are hardly muslim… and before you all jump to branding me a muslim fundamentalist - trust me, i am the first to call a spade a spade - even if they are muslim. I am not a practising muslim, and nor do i wish to judge others.. but salman khan, indeed all the khans and their famillies in bollywood are not muslim by their very essence. Even the worst of the worst muslims, like me, believe in the one and one god only - for gods sake ISLAM was based on the concept of getting rid of idol worship!!! And the icing on the cake - he thinks this is called integration. How many of his hindu buddies observe ramadhan? celebrate Eid? NONE. infact nor does he by teh looks of it. No wonder the indian muslims are seen as second class citizens in their own countries… they are ashamed of who they are. God Bless Them
yes,the fatwa is a wrong thing,the so called mullah is not against hinduism, but salu should understand the word 'shirk',portraying the image of god allmighty, any one who is having a little common sense should understand that a man made idol,wont know what is inside in it(once a thief made a big ganesh idol and inside the tummy was filled with full of stolen materials ….If ganesh was not even able to save his own head(story of parvathi's bath and lord shiva beheaded ganesh), how can he protect me…or i don't need any protection…but why you are disturbing the rhythm of sea,by polluting it which has allready been polluted and rising the very level and one day all the mumbai will be submerged under the water….
i dont know why some muslim people think so rudly of this incident ? some people go beyond the religion and all things and they understand real human being. if worship with broad mind with humble heart whats wrong n this. though he is not sooo educated like MBA or anything but his thinking is realy great. please dont just give excample about what written in quran. if all muslim decided to obey each word they cant even live life. there are lot of thing written in quran praticaly its not possible to obey everything
Umm isn’t Salman half hindu? His mother is hindu. Anyways religion is a private choice and no one has the right to put down another or call someone names. No matter how religious you are there will always be someone more relgious than you or that have differening views from yours. So who is right? I say live and let live. As long as someone is doing something in good faith and not hurting anyone then why would you condemn them. I you follow your religion in a certain way then that is between you and God. No one has a right to comment or be critical.
salman is not doing anything wrong and if anybody dontlike it than keep ur mouth shut .he belives in god so he worship it that not a big deal.he is not forcing u to do it . in an village in maharashtra ganpati is keept in mashijd and they celebrates it then why not salman, just b coz is a superstar dont be jelous on him
