Will Aamir Khan bag Oscars?
Aamir Khan has yet again managed to get his film for the Oscars. They say luck favours the brave. We spoke to two prominent astrologists who gave their take on current planetary situations in Aamir’s birthchart and what period awaits him in the near future.
Astrologist Rajeev Chitguppi’s predictions -
Aamir Khan is born on 14th March 1965 has Cancer as his Ascendant as well as Rashi.
Transit: Cancer has already completed the most of Saade-saathi (saturn’s cycle of 7 ∠years) period. So great times ahead.
Dasha: He is currently running Sun dasha. In his chart sun is posited in 9th house, Pisces, whose lord is Jupiter. This indicates fame through projects and contracts overseas and attainment of higher status and eminence. A big overseas contract is on its way. It also indicates acquiring higher level of philosophical approach in life. Sun is in Purvabhadra Nakshatra whose lord is again Jupiter. Jupiter is well posited in Aries i.e. 10th house indicating profession. In Navamsha, Jupiter’s position gets even better, i.e. Sagittarius. Mars is Aamir’s yogakaraka as well as lord of profession and it is in his house of finance, Leo, a friendly house. Now the best part - Transit Jupiter, in 2008, is prospecting all of them - 10th house, its lord and house of finance. This will ensure that 2008 is going to be a memorable year for Aamir, professionally and financially.
Antardasha: Aamir had Jupiter antardasha running till Mid 2008 which indicated very good results. Now he has a Saturn antardasha running till Mid 2009. Saturn is in 8th house indicating that his next project will require lots of research work to be done before it takes off. Saturn is very strong as it is vargottama in moolatrikona (aquarius). This promises great success in second half of 2008 as well.
Controversies and legal problems: The Rahu-Ketu axis involving many of his prominent planets like Venus, Mars and Saturn caused several legal and political hurdles on professional front in the last 18 months. He now needs to be more cautious about his health till end of 2009.

As per my numerology calculations, Aamir khan- name adds to 22, he is in his 45th year and he has just completed 44th year, this march 14th. His birthday number is 5.
This 4, 5 and 9 combination does not go well. This year he should be very careful in personal, professional and health matters.
The reason is, Mars is known as number of war, which may bring troubles and his name 22=4 may bring some health problems.
As far as my knowledge is concerned, he should not wear red coral because it represents plan Mars. But Mars and Mercury does not go well.
