Yet another Yashraj's product, Bachna Ae Haseeno, is a flick which would be especially liked by the youth. This romantic movie deals with a young guy Ranbir, who falls in love with 3 ladies at different time, first, when he is in HSC (1996), second when he starts working with a company in Mumbai (2002) and third when he moves to Australia.
The guy breaks heart of first 2 girls so badly and he never realizes it until his third girlfriend breaks his heart and makes him suffer the pain associated with a spilt up.
The movie starts with a guy going back to his flashback and taking us to Switzerland where he had fallen in love for the first time (with Minnisha Lamba). The director had tried very hard to show us that it was actually 1996 but somehow it feels, the actors looked lot older than those 18 year olds.
2nd story takes place in 2002, with Bipasha Basu. The guy is shown working for Microsoft's gaming section. Okay, now here the guy looks younger whereas Bipasha looks older. It is a kind of mismatch but here, there are few comedy scenes and the performance looks much real. Especially, Bipasha has really done a wonderful job.
Now, year 2007, the guy is in Sydney where he meets Deepika Padukone. There is indeed some kind of spark between Ranbir and Deepika. Maybe being a real life couple has helped them to showcase a beautiful chemistry on the celluloid. Deepika certainly has done justice with her character.
The movie seems quite ok in the first half but as it reaches interval, the whole movie becomes very predictable. The second half is emotional and a bit too long. The execution of the script by the director especially in the second half could have been better. The editing too could have been much crisper. As expected by the Yashraj productions, the music is superb, especially two songs, the classic Bachna Ae Haseeno and Khuda Jaane, really stand out. The cinematography is fantastic; the locales of Australia and Italy have been beautifully captured.On the acting front, Ranbir looks pretty good though he was kind of over the board in first story but overall he has done a good job. Minnisha again goes overboard like Ranbir in first story but later it is all good. Bipasha despite of looking bit older in front of Ranbir is the best of the lot. Deepika too is good. Actually, she did not have much to do.
The movie could have been made much better, in terms of execution, story et al. The concept of 1 guy falling in love with 3 girls is great but the way it is turned out is bad. They could have made it thorough romantic comedy flick rather than adding some drama and all.
So, overall, it seems that the movie would do good business. It may be liked by few while few might not like it. It should get mixed reactions.

Verrrry badddd movie..i think d story is very used & common. No point we find excited & attentive. The only thing is RANBIR’s dance in a song. That’s fantastic, but except it, no wayyy…

the movie is awesome in terms of music,cinematography,screenplay… but da second half seems to be disappointing quite a lil bit due to extension of da story..

This movie is a romantic tale of a lover boy who takes wrong steps in the first half of the movie and then makes it up in the second half after the self realisation of his true love dawns on him. This is no action movie. The sets are great. Movie taken in a lot of locations in europe, australia, and india. songs are sweet to listen to. this is a no-boring movie. it sure is an entertainer and a good time-pass. would applaud the acting of ranbir kapoor and bipasha that dominate the movie.
dis muvie is just da best eva muvie i have seen and ranbir luks realy gud wid all 3 guls especialy it shows mre chemstry between deepika and ranbir den da otha 2!!! i love dis muvie loadz!!!

Considering that it’s just a second movie on Chhote Kapur..a lively and arrogant performance by Ranbir…I like on screen arrogance in a actor….Minnisha was cute…bipasha was hot and deepika’s off screen chemistry was there onscreen as well…A decent story…fresh faces, nice locations, better direction provides movie a cutting edge…With movies like Singh is kinng, kismat konnection, ugly pagli and god tussi gr8 ho…this movie certainly is better placed….However there was one major problem…There best song should have featured Sunidhi Chauhan instead of shilpi rao…She dint matched the beauty of song along KK who was just 2 good in it…also this song has been nicely used in the movie here n thr….overall worth watching this movie…Don’t expect anything like The Dark Knight….

I just watched it and i thought it was okay..it felt like i was watching the movie over a 3 day period. It went on forever!! The beach scenes were awesome though.

bipashu really proves to her audience that she is the main star. i think her acting was amazing! 10/10
minishi was good, but i think she over acted. 8/10
deepika was really sweet but i didnt really get to see her in the movie much. 8/10
ranbir was the main character and he did a decent job, but it was outstanding. 8/10
since deepika, ranbir, and misnishi are just new comers it will take them some time to really become good actors (like bipashu in this movie).
the SONGS were amazing. Lucky boy was awesome.

The main actor normally drives the movie till the end. But this one seems to be a puppet show where the hero is simply doing whatever he is being told to (who was pulling the puppet strings?). He does not demonstrate any real heroic traits.

Very very colorful movie, liked it a lot. Good performance from all, especially Ranbir looked natural. Technical gtiches will always be there for critics. But overall a very good entertainer.
