Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta ChasmaWelcome to the upside down world of Taarak Mehta SAB brings the family together with its new show.

Finding a lighter side to all problems in life gives a fresher and positive outlook to living in a chaotic world. SAB not only keeps one family together but knits a full community with its new show that brings a positive perspective to the usual situations of life. Called 'Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah', the show revolves around members of a single housing society who face common real life situations. But finding simple solutions and the underlying message of always keeping a positive perspective to life, is its highlight. The show will air everyday starting 28th July 08 Monday — Thursday at 8:30 pm only on SAB.

Jethalaal' (Dilip Joshi) who is an uneducated Gujarati businessman lives in Gokuldham Co-operative society with his family. 'Jethalaal's' main cause of worry is his mischievous son 'Tapu' (Bhavya Gandhi). He calls is father 'Champaklaal'(Amit Bhatt) to live with them so he can be a positive influence on 'Tapu'. Showcasing an impactful relationship shared between a father, son and grandson the show unites the family with each episode.

Well known as a popular journalist and columnist, Taarak Mehta now shares his humour on the small screen as well. An amalgamation of topical happenings flavored with humor and seasoned with a different perspective to look at is Taarak's trademark.

Commenting on the launch of the show, Mr. Anooj Kapoor, Business Head, SAB said, "In today's time when you get to see only family feuds in real as well as reel life, the ability to find simple solutions is the key to bind the family together. This is the underlying theme of our show and if SAB contributes even a little towards bringing all family members together and enjoying a show at the same time, it will be like a dream come true for us at SAB. The show is a genuine effort to bring Taarak Mehta's inspiring thoughts to the world."

The very idea of transforming a series of Taarak's columns and his social based characterization into a daily family show on television now takes off for a wider audience. 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' is a classic show which revolves around Mr. Mehta's neighbour, Mr. Jethalaal, his family and the incidents in their lives and how all the society members are affected by the current affairs of the country be it any subject. With people from different walks of life staying together, where each one is a characteristic personality, and so many events occurring in their lives definitely has room for humour when seen through Taarak's ooltah chashmah.

    When i started seeing this serial..i thought it was just another family serial…the usual Saans Bahu types..But i was wrong..Its the best serial for stress buster and half an hour of laughter & finally a good message @ the end of the serial…every one have given their best in their roles…Jethalal,Daya,Bhide,HAATHI,IYER,BABITA,OYE PAPAJI….Cheers to the TMKOC…..

    taarak mehta ka oolta chashma is the only serial which i love to watch.all the characters are superb.in male i love most character is bhide.his acting is very good.specially his famous dialouge {ARE HAMARE ZAMANE MAIN}n in female i like most is daya.i love her specially her voice n her dialuoge i like most is {TAPU KE PAPA}i love daya very much i wants to meet her if possible bcause i wants to touch her FEET.bcause i love her by heart.u believe it or not but u have become obsession for me.really i love her by heart n i wants to touch her feet.

    I like this serial very much but there is only one problem that I have. I have seen Gokul Dham society members celebrating all festiwals except any of the Muslim festiwals. I dont know why the society members have never celebrated Eid.

    This serial is the best. This is the only serial we watch in our home alongwith the family. After a day’s hector work, this serial gives us relief and make us laugh.

    This is the serial that i love the most in my entire life……. and my favourate is Mr. JETHA LAL (Dilip Bhai)… i love this serial so much that if same time 8:30 i need to go for my dinner and always i prefer to postpone it till 9:00 and to watch it….. i had never seen any serial that can compete with this all the team member of TARAK MEHTA i wish that you will break all the records of INDIAN TELEVISION one day….
