Sarcastic Amitabh Bachchan
At the press conference held for The Unforgettable Tour, Amitabh Bachchan was annoyed by the unmannerly behaviour of some media crew present and voiced his displeasure as well.
When the media interaction session began, the TV channels camera crew and the still photographers started making a lot of noise amongst themselves which was disturbing the on going proceedings. An annoyed Big B then immediately got up and taking on the mike ordered to those creating noise to maintain silence.
He was left further irritated by some childish questions by few members of the media. Like one TV journalist kept on asking him questions related to the current political situation in the country. When Big B tried to reason out why was he being asked this question, the female journalist replied, “because it involves your brother Mr. Amar Singh.” To this the Senior Bachchan immediately hit back saying sarcastically, “You, too, are my sister so should I be concerned about all your problems?”
Another journo asked him in chaste Bhojpuri, “In what capacity is Jaya Bachchan coming to the world tour?” To which he replied poker faced, “Just as my wife!”
One more scribe, asked him how will he manage his show in London as on the same day in the same city, Shah Rukh Khan is going to perform as well. Bachchan feigning ignorance about the fact replied, “I don’t know if he is performing. But if he really is then the more the merrier.”
Bachchan never looked pleased during the entire press conference and most of his answers to other questions, too, bordered on the sarcastic!
Abhishek Bachchan too got caught in his “Pa’s” mood and when asked how does he unwind himself in real life, he replied, “By attending press conferences like these!”
Aishwarya and Preity Zinta and even Ritesh Deshmukh who, too, were present at the press conference were hardly asked any questions by the media!

It is shocking the manner in which journalist behaves with a senior actor. To which capacity Jaya Bhadhuri is going to be in show- in my reply it should have been better if Amit would have told as Satyajit Ray’s discovery and his wife. Is it correct media? What is qualiication of Jaya Bhaduri as Indian artiste. Shame on scribes. Are scribes know about Hindi cinema, have then seen film like SHOLAY?
I do not understand why media acts in a manner in which they are not supposed to do. One, Bachchan is better in Hindi ( language) and English than many Indian scribes even. As a poet son why media . New generation media do not know about Jaya Bachchan. How come- what is their background on Cinema. Can Indian cinema be without Bachchan? His wife is one of versatile actress of Indian cinema, we do not have Smita Patil, Nutan or Nargis with us but we should be proud we have a Jaya Bhaduri. Dear scribes, You do not know about Jaya Bhaduri still.

Seniority matters everywhere. A person who is senior in any field need better respect . Very ridiculous to note our Indian journlaists do ask in what capacity Jaya can accompany Big B? if filmstars are husband and wife and they are senior actors of Indian cinema, how come such petty thoughts arise in mind of people? One must pity the way media is functioning. Let us not ridicule the talentor status of actor/actress if they are supposed to be husband-wife. Of late media do not see Big B’s film and makes bad review, that is another thing we need not say.
Really it’s unfair of media to ask such irrelevant questions to Mr Amitabh bachchan. Jaya Bhaduri is one of the best actress in the Indian cinema and one should be proud with her presence and welcome her in all important events related to film industry.
