Love Story 2050 Review

It’s a beautiful dream for those who love living in the dreamlands only; but what about the audience who are quite bored with repetitive Bollywoody love stories!
Karan Oberoi (Harman Baweja) is the only son of famed businessman Mr. Oberoi (Dalip Tahil). Karan is not happy with his father as because his father is more interested in cars, business and achievement than his only son. Being very lonely and having the thought in mind that his unfortunate accidents would bring no loss to anyone, Karan always prefers to play with danger. In the course of the mundane story, Karan meets Sana (Priyanka Chorpa) and for obvious reasons (love, I mean to say) they decide on getting married. And here comes the twist. Sana meets an accident and she dies leaving Karan all alone.
On the other hand the Love Story has Karan’s uncle, Dr. Yatinder Khanna (Boman Irani), who by profession is a scientist. Dr. Khanna has been working on a time machine for last fifteen years so that he can poke into the future to how the things will change (obviously).
Karan meets Dr. Khanna and recapping Sana’s dream about entering the year 2050, they go to the year 2050 with the time machine. Entering the future Karan comes to know that Sana is now the best rock-star of the world living in Mumbai and is named as Zaisha. Ultimately Karan succeeds in getting his love, Sana alias Zaisha, back to the present with the help of QUTY and BOO, two robotic dolls taking care of Zaisha.
Harry Baweja has beautifully taken care of direction as well as the story but at some places the story becomes little slow. Music and lyrics of the film looks nice but at the same time it appears little difficult to say that songs will look something like that with flying cars in the year 2050. Priyanka has worked well in accordance with her character. Whether Harman’s resemblance with Hrithik is a bane or boon is a quiz immaterial but his impact on the screen is quite impressive. Boman Irani has depicted his character quite well. Archana Puran Singh looks good in her character of Priyanka’s mother.
The first part of the film is based on the love story between Priyanka and Harman and the funny thing is the second part of the film is also based on their love story. The only difference is the second part happens in the year 2050.
Coming to the much hyped special effects, Harry has proved it a mark in Indian film history but it’s quite difficult to say whether the world, especially Mumbai, will look somewhat like that in the year 2050. This possibly is the first Indian film that marvels in special effects and people seem really amazed but at the same time few people are inclined to believe it a copy of some Hollywood flick. Being neutral it’s better to buy both the opinions. One funny thing is, even in 2050, corruption remain our inseparable characteristic. On the other hand the robot snake shows the fatal future of today’s reptiles (?).
QUTY and BOO show the great creative status of the director but the size of BOO is little small than what people have expected it to be. The film, flaunting a budget of fifty crore, must have earned a cool amount from Lux and Lawman. At the same time, the brand owners must be feeling good thinking about how their brands will be famous among stars even in 2050.
Well, it’s time to say adieu to you all but before signing off it’s better to say that you must watch the film once to witness Harman’s acting, special effects and not to forget, Mumbai in 2050.

I knew that’s what would happen with this movie. The storyline, the direction, the animation, the dancing style, make-up style, songs - all of these important things that an intelligent audience demands to be original, are actually lifted form various movies n what not. Harry Baweja - The Master of Copying English movies to songs to scenes - has directed Harman Baweja (the son). How can someone just plain rely on copying things like that?? I suppose rather than spending so much on production, the movie shud’ve rather spent on giving crores n crores to ppl who could have done original work on writing, direction, animation, songs et al!
This movie sucks big time.
The storyline of this movie is entirely lifted from an excellent Hollywood movie titled ‘The Time Machine’.

This is one of the most fuckinggggggggg movie of my life. this movie is very bad, sucking, I don’t know how priyanka chopra can act with an ass hole actore in this which suck from begging till end, and there is not even a single hot scene in the movie, & i think i didn’t know in a future that be in a normal thing that i will not going to watch any movie of Priyanka Chopra with this fuck’n ass hole actor. Atleat in this movie when a Priyanka shall give hot scene with robots . I hope I clear my self very well that this movie is totaly wastage of time, this movie really sucks, fuck’n bastard and any thing !!!!

I liked this movie though few plots were taken from some other movies .At personal level i didn’t got bored watching it.
chemistry between Priyanka and Harman was good .Screen presence of Harman was awesome ,he is really gonna prove to be a black horse Combination of shahrukh and hrithik i felt.This movie rockss big time.Harman is goin to shock everone in coming days,just wait for him. I will give 3 1/2 out of 5.
the movie is a complete entertainer. As India’s first sci-fi movie, it is fantabulous start. You should definitely give this movie a try and let yourself go on this thrilling, romantic ride. It has a modern and fresh edge to it that will leave you captivated for the most part. You can expect a beautiful love story and witness a world that could be our future soon. However, if you’re going to go in the theatre, expecting it to be a perfect movie just because of the sci-fi effects, then you’ll be dissapointed.
Worst Bollywood movie, no WORST movie I have ever seen in my life. It made no sense, it was not funny, the story wasn’t original, the songs were terrible, and the acting made me want to snore. I can’t see how this movie could be entertaining to anyone over the age of 10, and even a 10 year old wouldn’t want to be stuck in a boredom stricken plot like this.
Skip this bollywood movie. It was so bad it made me wonder if I ever wanted to see Bollywood movies again…

I say fuck all to those who r criticising this movie. They r talking as if bollywood hasn’t copied from bollywood before. Even the name ‘bollywood’ is copied. A large number of movies have been beautifully adapted from foreign films. As far as this particular movie is concerned i think it is a sincere effort on the part of the director.I dont think he has wasted any money and the ambience of 2050 has been created beautifully( and as far as i know before the release people were bothered with that only).Now they want excellent storyline also. There is something called genre. I know the story is typical but what matters is the presentation. I will give 3 1/2 out of 5.
A movie is made for the pleasure of the audiences and not for a doting daddy to promote a son,no matter how talented he is.This movie is a bomb and insults the intelligence of the audience.I have no doubt that Harman will do well going ahead but he must get rid of doting dad’s formula movie style and dare to do a fresh, believable movie.We will see his talent and appreciate it also if we get a watchable movie.this one was a stinker.And what is the need to be another Hrithik? Why can’t Harman just be Harman as Imran is just Imran in his debut?

Best movie ever…i have seen in my life…i juss njoyed dis movie. It has science fiction in it.Its not boring movie at all.It makes us happy & smyle too.and people in dis forum .plzz id u dont like movie .dont give bad words..plzz dis is my request..specially dont curse HARMAN BAWEJA…he is great guy..he has done nice job in dis movie.so i dont think ,he is copyin anyone,so guyzz juss njoy dis movie..dis movie is superhit..I LOVED dis movie.HARMANrockz….keep upp the good work harman…..all the best……ur my favorite nowwwwwwwww
i think this movie is not bad at all it all dependes the way u ll watch it . and yaa no one has a right to accuse the the movie or the actors who worked hard and to all their effort to entertain us in the best way they could . its not their problem that the movie didnt lead upto your expectation. people say that is a copy of a hollywood movie so what ????? people learn to appreciate peoples work.

A lot of things seemed to have gone wrong with this movie’s initial marketing to public and the actual execution of the script.
1. Being portrayed as another Hrithik (style, dress & all) during launch party is a BAD idea.
2. Being pitted arrogantly against a very successful actor’s project as is a VERY BAD idea (Jaane Tu..).
In both cases, you are alienating the fans.
3. Once you have done the above, then you have already created a group that wants the film to fail.
4. Then you give them a script that just feels choppy, you have lost the plot.
I luved d movie.It was quite entertaining.The scene, scenary n picturisation is 2 good. Harman is not 2 b blamed for resembling Hrithik. Harman is natural in his acting. I wud say its his bad luck that he resembles Hrithik a lot. Hrithik has made a place for himself in this fraternity and i m sure Harman will achieve his too. wish u all d very best Harman. Dont b disappointed. U did a god job. I wud rate the movie 4 from 5.
You crazy, dissatisfied idiots. Can’t you see how much effort, imagination has gone into this? Serious pessimists. I loved this movie. The new actor has done tremendously well, look at the effort people. I’d give this movie 4.5 out of 5. May there be more directors with guts to create something big, imaginative and fun.

I can take apart each n evry scene f this movie.. But i dnt have d patience nor time 4 it! So al u losers out there who liked dis movie, go get a life! And al those harman fans fuck off! He only knows how 2 overact like hrithik did in MPKDH. Though hrithik is a brilliant actor.. Harman suckd in emotional scenes..!
