‘Naya Roop Nayi Zindagi’ to debut on Sony TV

Now people with a prominent birthmark,or victims of acid attack or explosions can breathe a sigh of relief - a new television show will help to completely transform not only their looks but also the way they live.
Starting at 8 p.m. on Sony TV Thursday, the show “Naya Roop Nayi Zindagi” will try to help people with such problems that made them apprehensive in facing the world.
Albert Almeida, executive vice president and business head of Sony TV, said: “Through this show, we are trying to build back the confidence of people who have had some shocking and heart breaking incidents in their lives.”
“Every participant in this reality show is a winner in their own right.”
Almeida feels that the case histories of people who have faced a traumatic emotional journey are “the poignant elements of the show”.
Each episode of the show, to be hosted by popular television actor Mona Singh, who played the title role of “Jassi”, a nerdy, bespectacled girl, would discuss the case history of the person concerned.
As per individual requirements, a surgery would be conducted to correct the looks-related problems followed by a recovery process.
Mona Singh travelled across the country to call for entries for the show. “On playing the role of Jassi, I experienced what an individual undergoes on being rejected in public due to looks. I feel I can empathize with these people,” she said.

yesterday night i saw your program on sony T.V., after watching the show i have found a ray of hope in life. i am 22yrs old,a girl who has met with a severe burn accident 4 yrs. back. i have received several scars on my face,neck, chest and partially on both of my breats. My palm region has also got influenced and got few scars on them. i underwent a surgery that have removed my contractures but left me at the same situation with numerous scars. i feal very hesitable in order to go out of my home. People don’t accept me between them . MY life has gone pathetic .please help me i don’t want to live a life as such.

I am having a different problem than u showed on TV about Richa, My rt leg was amputed completely due to osteo sarcoma, and since then i use artifiial leg which is so uncomfortable and cant even walk properly. People walk by pitying on me when I walk on road, I prefer not to go in any function because everyone has attention on me. its so embarressing. Till now I am not married as no one wants to marry a handicapped girl. There are other advanced leg which can improve my walk, and you people can definitly help me.
