‘Naya Roop Nayi Zindagi’ to debut on Sony TV
Now people with a prominent birthmark,or victims of acid attack or explosions can breathe a sigh of relief - a new television show will help to completely transform not only their looks but also the way they live.
Starting at 8 p.m. on Sony TV Thursday, the show “Naya Roop Nayi Zindagi” will try to help people with such problems that made them apprehensive in facing the world.
Albert Almeida, executive vice president and business head of Sony TV, said: “Through this show, we are trying to build back the confidence of people who have had some shocking and heart breaking incidents in their lives.”
“Every participant in this reality show is a winner in their own right.”
Almeida feels that the case histories of people who have faced a traumatic emotional journey are “the poignant elements of the show”.
Each episode of the show, to be hosted by popular television actor Mona Singh, who played the title role of “Jassi”, a nerdy, bespectacled girl, would discuss the case history of the person concerned.
As per individual requirements, a surgery would be conducted to correct the looks-related problems followed by a recovery process.
Mona Singh travelled across the country to call for entries for the show. “On playing the role of Jassi, I experienced what an individual undergoes on being rejected in public due to looks. I feel I can empathize with these people,” she said.

yesterday night i saw your program on sony T.V., after watching the show i have found a ray of hope in life. i am 22yrs old,a girl who has met with a severe burn accident 4 yrs. back. i have received several scars on my face,neck, chest and partially on both of my breats. My palm region has also got influenced and got few scars on them. i underwent a surgery that have removed my contractures but left me at the same situation with numerous scars. i feal very hesitable in order to go out of my home. People don’t accept me between them . MY life has gone pathetic .please help me i don’t want to live a life as such.

I am having a different problem than u showed on TV about Richa, My rt leg was amputed completely due to osteo sarcoma, and since then i use artifiial leg which is so uncomfortable and cant even walk properly. People walk by pitying on me when I walk on road, I prefer not to go in any function because everyone has attention on me. its so embarressing. Till now I am not married as no one wants to marry a handicapped girl. There are other advanced leg which can improve my walk, and you people can definitly help me. I want to discuss my sister’s problem with you. She is in Delhi, India right now. Actually she is not having any deformity in looks but after pregnancy she got shivering problem in her left part of body because of which her husband left her and want divorce from her.Its more than 2years she been married. Now she is fighting for the divorce case. She is having one 1year old baby boy also. Please help her. Coz of this problem she is gets sometimes very very upset. She feels to do suicide. My whole family is disturbed coz of this problem.My dadd y n mummy not able to sleep whole night from the .They all just think about her n her future life as she is unable to do any home related work like cooking ,cutting vegetable, making any thing as she shivers. So we cannot even think of her 2nd marriage. She needs lot of care. We have gone to so many doctors and also to pandits and all but no positive result yet. This is show is the worst show, i have ever seen. I don’t understand what kind of people are you. And i think Dabur Group has made the biggest mistake of there life. as i dont think roop or face value has much of importance. what value have you added to life of those people— only good think is they can look good, they can marry and nothing else… but by face value they can not feed anybody. it would have been better if you people had helped physically , mentally changed people–so they could earn for them self and their families. I met with an accident when i was 12 , i lost eyesight of left eye and got a scar on my face. but still i am happy and happily married because i have two hands to work and two legs to carry all responsibilities and proper education to deal with this world.

i saw your program on sony T.V., after watching the show i have found a ray of hope in life. i am 28yrs old. During pregnancy, i met with a severe burn accident 1-1/2 yrs. back. Thankfully, after 45% third-degree burns, my baby was saved but i received several scars on my neck, chest, hands, and partially on both of my breasts. I have several white spots also. i underwent a surgery that has removed my contractures but left me at the same situation with numerous scars. i feel very hesitable in order to go out of my home. My life has gone pathetic. please help me i don't want to live a life as such.

This is Ganesh Kumar, my sister in law; Anamika Kumari is 25 years old and she is having a shrinken right hand and comparatively small fingers in the right hand because of an accident which happened when she was just 1 year old.
At the age of 1 year only a full pot of boiling water fell on her right arm and the arm got shrinken and also became stiff to rotate freely from the elbow, she also can not hold things properly from her right hand.For last 1 year she is a middle school teacher in a government school in Sitamarhi, a town in Bihar. i’m preetha from mangalore. i’m 41 yrs old suffering from condition known as melanin pigmentation disorder. this started around when i was 31/2 yrs old. it started with a single spot and within a span of six months it covererd the exposed parts of the body( face, hands, exposed part of the legs). i have tried almost all forms of medicine ayurvedic, homeopathic which has not helped me at all. due to my condition i have been disowned by my own kith n kin. i now stay with my aged aunt. i have completed my diploma in travel n tourism. i enjoy painting n doing art n crafts. due to my condition getting a job also is difficult as society also is not so welcoming. since i have no moral support from my own people or from the society i have reached a stage wherein i’m contemplating suicide. when i 1st saw this programme on air i saw a ray of hope. i want you’ll to guide me as to how i could get over my condition and lead a normal life. looking forward for your positive reply

hi i am faizan 19 years old. It is a very sad for my side that i have a big red spatch on my face by birth, on right sight, below the eye. Due to this re mark my half upper lip is thicker, and increasing wit time. I have cusulted many doctors but every body said that it is due to over swelling of blood capilereis. what so ever it is but it is very awkward looking and draws my confidence to the lowest steam.

my parents are searching the guy for marriage. all offers are rejected due to the inproportionate body structure. then suddenly came to know about one of our relative . we shared our feelings. we became very close friends. there is good frequency and radiation. we didnot met upto this time. but unfortunately or fortunately we met once. he strongly rejected me to marry. his hectic pain putting to semiconsciousness state. due to this i am near to death twice. he is asking me to structure myself as model. i am trying to reduce my weight but failed. but his rejection putting me in hectic pain , frustration that i am sometimes fall in the working place . i want to structure myself. i am feared that his rejection may put me for suicide attempts. we are from orthodox family.
