Big B’s security and ‘Shoe Bite’ unit warned to behave
Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachhan’s security personnel manhandled local people and tourists who had gathered here to have a glance of the actor during the shooting of his new film ”Shoe Bite” following which the district SP warned the unit to take due caution in future.
Mr Bachhan’s security personnel and other shooting unit members allegedly broke the camera of a tourist from Delhi after he had taken a few pictures of the actor following a protest by the local people over the blocking of the road leading to the famous The Mall Road.
The people were protesting the shooting unit’s decision not to allow movement of people and vehicles, including three ambulances on the road leading to The Mall Road near the Willow Bank.
According to an eyewitness account, the three ambulances were held up near the Willow Bank area and the people were requesting the film unit to allow them to cross when the incident occurred.
Reacting to complaints by local people and photojournalists, Shimla SP R M Sharma said police had received complaint against the shooting unit following the blocking of the road.
”We have warned the unit to take due caution in future and not to repeat such incidents otherwise they would not be allowed to continue shooting here,” he added.

honestly, I can see both sides of the story. On the one hand you have to protect that million dollar face from amateur photographers, on the other, there is freedom of expression, speech, and movement. Who is right, hard to say.
