Cartoon Network, Pogo launch new shows for kids

Cartoon Network and Pogo today announced the launch of six new programmes for its young audience.

The new programme range includes animation - ”BenTen” in Hindi, Telegu and Tamil, live and toon format game show - ”Skatoony”, adventure serial- ”Cambala Investigation Agency”, supernatural sitcom -”Sunaina”, science and general knowledge based- ”FAQ” and the fifth season of award winning show ”MAD”, along with the fourth successive season of ”Pogo Amazing Kids 2007”.

”Its a power packed series including an underwater episode of MAD,” promised ”MAD” host Rob Harun.

”Till date, we have produced 26 original animated productions and 6 original live action shows mainly on Pogo,” Pogo India and South Asia Advertising Sales and Network VP Monica Tat said.

A part of Turner network, Cartoon Network was launched in 1995 and Pogo in 2004, she said adding that they together account for 50 per cent of children and pre adolescent audience in the country.
