Thai Army officer who wanted to marry Aishwarya Rai

”Oh! I wish she was not married,” says Lt Panupat Danpanich of Thai Royal Army (TRA) who is on a visit here to participate in a joint army exercise to combat global terrorism.
A die hard fan of the former Miss World, Lt Danpanich, during an informal conversation with UNI, admits he was yet to stomach the fact the doe-eyed beauty has tied the nuptial knot with Abhishek Bachchan.
The young officer said he was not the only one, who loved the actress, but there were thousands of her young fans in Thailand.
When asked about her most striking feature, Lt Panupat replied, ”Wow…her eyes…the very blue eyes and her pretty smile.
She is picture perfect.” The officer also claimed to have seen most of Aishwarya Rai’s movies but could hardly remember any name .
”I just keep watching her in the movie as I don’t follow Hindi.I only enjoy looking at her.” Besides Aishwarya, Shah Rukh Khan sets the pulse of hundreds of Thai girls racing, he said adding that religious TV serials like Ramayana and Mahabharata were also popular in his country.
