Bomb hoax at Big B house
(No Ratings Yet)A bomb threat today at the ‘Jalsa’ bungalow of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan at Juhu, in suburban Mumbai, turned out to be a hoax.
When contacted, Mr Bachchan, who was present in the bungalow, told UNI that Santacruz police personnel came to his house this afternoon, saying that they had received an anonymous fax that a bomb had been placed in his residence ‘Jalsa’, which would go off at 1630 hrs and they needed to check.
”The police team and the bomb disposal squad conducted a search after all family members were evacuated. They searched the entire house and found nothing,”Mr Bachchan said.
He said a private television channel had forwarded him an email from one Pappu Yadav, which said a bomb would go off in his house at 1630 hrs.
