A Jodhpur court has stayed ”Kajari”, the Aamir Khan starrer, from using the title and airing advertisements here today.

Ashok Joshi, the counsel of complainant Pratap Singh, pleaded that a film with the same title, starring Imran Khan and Amrita Singh, was already registered and pending with the Censor Board for approval.

The film had been produced by Jay Thakur and Haider Khazmi and Pratap Singh was the distributor of the film.

The Aamir Khan movie, directed by Allu Arvind, was a remake of Tamil film ‘Gajani’ and it had been given the same title, Mr Joshi added.

The complainant pleaded a stay on use of the title and airing of all advertisements of the second film as it would affect the prospects of his film .
