Television and film actor Harsh Chhaya had a tough time recently when he was travelling from Baroda to Mumbai. A policeman stopped him at a signal and asked him to pay a fine for not using the seat belt.

Harsh, who obediently paid the fine, was in for a shock when at the same time another car was stopped for the same but the person refused to pay the fine and identified himself as a member of a political party.

Harsh immediately protested against this and asked the policeman to collect the fine from both of them or let off both.

To save face, the policeman asked the other man also to pay up. But this did not go down well with the politician who abused Harsh and left fuming.

“It’s sad to see people in our society act this way. These are the people who pledge to take care of the citizens and society. If they behave like this, what is to be expected of the common man? This incident just reflects our political and social administration,” said Harsh.

The actor is currently busy with three shows on television namely, “Love Story”, “Ghar Ek Sapna” and “Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Asmaan” and has a couple of movies lined up in both Hindi and Marathi.
