‘Fool n Final’ Movie Review
‘Fool n Final’ the latest laugh riot from Bollywood released to a lukewarm response across the country on Friday.
Starring a host of Bollywood actors, the film is an out and out comedy, and the second directorial venture of choreographer-turned-director Ahmed Khan.
However, this comical roller coaster ride failed to excite the audiences on board.
‘The movie was just a good time pass. I liked Viveik Oberoi, Shahid Kapoor everybody was nice, Paresh Rawal, in all it was a time pass,’ said Neha, a viewer.
The film revolves around a diamond robbery that takes place in India and how all the characters in the film get involved in the chase for the diamond.
The film is full of comic moments where all the 14 characters, all of them thieves, try to out-manoeuvre each other to catch hold of the diamond.
Boasting of a celebrated star cast, the film stars veterans like Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever- eminent comic actors, along with actors like Shahid Kapoor, Ayesha Takia, Gulshan Grover, Sunny Deol and others.
‘It’s not a gruesome character, it not an angry character. Shahid’s character is of a very lovable thief. He does small robberies and it’s a comic part, not negative in any way. So, I am sure it won’t take me too far away from what people like,’ said Shahid, for whom this role is a deviation from his usual chocolate-hero romantic image.
Even the characters are also innovatively christened in this comic flick like Moscow, Chikna, Chatur Chaubey, Gunmaster-G9, Pattu Pilate, Abdul Tikki and a dog named Hajmola, to keep up the comic element in the movie.
‘Stealing stones n breaking bones’ reads the punch line of this film, where even the action sequences are interspersed with comedy, making it fun to watch.
The most talked about is an action sequence which has the actors dressed up as super heroes.
‘It’s basically a comedy sequence in the film where we all are trying to disguise ourselves in these costumes. And the funny part is that we are all superheroes but, we get caught in an open fire in the scene between all the villains and how we are trying to save our lives in these superhero costumes. So it’s really-really funny,’ said Ayesha Takia, actress.
The makers have taken pains to create a stir for the film by designing the entire promo like a comic book.
In fact, the film boasts of the costliest film promo to be made in Bollywood till date, with an expenditure of 4 million rupees.
The music of ‘Fool N Final’ is already a hit with its songs topping the hartbusters, which have become quite a rage amongst the music lovers.
