Mahalakshmi - Chopra’s lucky mascot?

It’s time to rejoice for singer Mahalakshmi Iyer. Every child seems to be humming and dancing to the “Ta ra rum pum” tune.

Mahalakshmi’s rendition of this perky animated number not just gets heartthrob Saif Ali Khan and the bubbly Rani Mukerji to boogie along with their on-screen kids but also gets Ma bear, Pa bear and baby bears to dance to her jingle.

This young multitalented singer seems to have become the latest favourite with the Yash Raj Films team. She’s sung chartbusters in “Salaam Namaste”, “Bunty Aur Babli”, “Fanaa”, “Dhoom 2″ - and now this.

Is she their lucky mascot?
