Saregama’s ‘Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii’ to release on June 22

Saregama’s next film in collaboration with Ken Ghosh’s Shadow Films titled ‘Chain Kulii Ki

Main Kulii’ (CK2MK) is slated for release on June 22.

With the release of this film, Saregama is entering the kids’ genre in films and is targeting

children from the age group of six to 16 years. The film stars Rahul Bose in the lead along

with child actor Zain Khan.

Commenting on venturing into the children’s genre, B R Sharan, Chief Creative Officer,

Saregama told reporters here today, ”There is a vast market for children’s films, but there

are very few with a message.’Chain Kulii Ki Main Kulii’ seeks to speak about ‘adoption’ but in

a fun manner. Rahul Bose teams up with Zain Khan, a teen film prodigy and veteran of several

TV commercials to take you through sometimes hilarious and very often heart-wrenching

moments.” The story starts off in an orphanage where Karan (Zain Khan) longs to be adopted,

but very soon he comes across Varun (Rahul Bose), and it transforms into a film about fun,

fantasy and friendship. The film has rib-tickling dialogues that children will love to copy,

foot-tapping music by hit duo Salim Sulaiman and peppy song sequences including a music video

featuring Varun and Karan who hit the disco floor with a bevy of beauties, Sharan said.

Editing by Shaju K Chandran, Screenplay by Nupur Asthana, Dialogues by Satyam M Tripathi,

lyrics by Irfan Siddiqui and directed by Kituu Salooja, he added.
