ZEE acquires Ammotoje Mann’s ‘Kaafila’
(No Ratings Yet)Zee Entertainment Network has acquired the worldwide distribution rights of Hindi feature film ‘Kaafila’ starring Sunny Deol.
The film is produced and directed by Ammtoje Mann and focusses on the story of illegal immigrants. After the success of ‘GADAR’ EK PREM KATHA’ in 2001, Zee had taken a back-seat as far as film production and distribution was concerned. Only now, after a six-year hiatus, Zee Entertainment Network has acquired the worldwide distribution rights of a mainstream Hindi feature film, sources said.
Zee Entertainment Network evinced keen interest in acquiring the film after viewing the rushes.
Zee Entertainment Network is pretty confident of the film’s thumping worldwide success and senses that it has a winner in the form of ‘KAAFILA’ which is based on the burning global issue of illegal immigration. Apart from Sunny Deol,the film stars Pakistani actors as well.
