SRK, Abhishek, Aishwarya, Priyanka, Preity to perform at Zee Cine Awards
(1 votes, average: 5 out of 5)‘King Khan’ Shah Rukh along with the ”hottest couple in Bollywood today - Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan will add glitter to this years’s edition of the Zee Cine Awards, to be held in Genting, Malaysia, tomorrow.
Shah Rukh, Aishwarya and Abhishek are among the huge galaxy of stars from the tinselworld of Bollywood who will lend a ’starry look’ to the the 10th Annual Zee Cine Awards 2007, the others being the glamorous Urmila Matondkar and the ‘Big Brother’ winner Shilpa Shetty.
Also setting the stage on fire will be the ‘perky’ Priety Zinta, the ‘ethereal’ Katrina Kaif, the ’sexy’ Tanushree Dutta and Yana Gupta and the actor with a great comic timing Ritesh Deshmukh.
Being touted as the biggest event of the year, larger than any of the earlier events like the Filmfare awards, Screen and the Stardust awards, the Zee Cine awards will be hosted by filmmaker-turned-anchor Karan Johar along with Saif Ali Khan.
This is the fourth year in succession that the Zee Cine awards, which began in 1998, is being held abroad.
It was in 2004 that the Zee Cine Awards (ZCA), spearheaded by the Zee Network, was staged for ther first time outside India, in Dubai.
In doing do, it reached a new milestone in that it was the first time ever that an Indian cinema event had been staged outside India and with such élan and aplomb. The 2005 edition of the awards function was held in London while in 2006, the event was staged at the stunning locales of Mauritius.
