Celebrations begin for Ash-Abhi wedding
It’s celebration time at the Bachchan bungalows - ‘Prateeksha’ and ‘Jalsa’, as both Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are reportedly determined to make their wedding an event worth remembering for a lifetime.
But before the wedding, families of the bride and the groom have gathered to enjoy the ‘Sangeet’ and ‘Mehendi’ ceremonies.
Today is the day of the ‘Sangeet’ ceremony. The celebration is expected to be marvellous affair, as family members - Big B, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek and Shweta will perform dance numbers choreographed by Shiamak Davar and Karan Johar.
‘Mehendi’ ceremony will be held on Thursday at the Bachchan’s second bungalow ‘Jalsa’. The wedding will take place at ‘Prateeksha’ on Friday.
A special wedding card in a big box embossed with double A has been sent to those who are in the ‘A’ listed category of invitees. This card has been sent to 200 close friends, including Mulayam Singh Yadav.
The other invitees include industrialist Anil Ambani and his wife Tina, Sahara Group chief Subroto Roy and Samajwadi Party General Secretary Amar Singh.
From Bollywood, Director-Producer Karan Johar and his mother Hiroo, Director Goldie Behl and his wife Sonali Bendre, Anupam Kher, his wife Kirron and son Sikander, Ajay Devgun, Kajol, Sanjay Dutt, Jayaprada, Dimple Kapadia, Danny Dengzongpa, Yash Chopra, his son Aditya are among the invitees.
Sachin Tendulkar, Ad Filmmaker Prahlad Kakkar and Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali are also among those invited.
The Bachchans are guarding their privacy fiercely and have reportedly asked their guests to keep mum about the wedding details.
Besides, taking care of each and every single thing, the Bachchans have left no stone unturned as far as security for the wedding is concerned.
