Abhi-Ash wedding photos win over hearts of youngsters
Bollywood’s first family may have succeeded in keeping the wedding of Abhishek-Aishwarya a private affair, but fans across the country are now thrilled to watch the unforgettable moments in photo album ciculated on e-mail.
Being in circulation since Monday, the photographs are in high demand, as fans are happy to receive the “Abhi-Ash Wedding” mail on the Internet.
Though the photographs of the wedding day, Mehndi Raat and the visit to Balaji Temple are now available on some websites and are also being shown on news channels, it is the mailed pictures that are attracting fans.
The twenty-odd photographs show the bride and the bridegroom performing various Hindu marital rituals.
“I liked the photograph that shows Abhishek Bachchan holding Aishwarya’s hands while taking her out of the Lord Balaji Temple. Away from their stardom, the newly weds look more real and so full of love,” said Munira Bakshi, a software engineer in Gurgaon.
“It is really fantastic to be able to watch how everything took place on the wedding day. Though all photographs have their own charm, but I liked the one in which Abhishek is shown lifting his floral veil off his face on reaching his bride Aishwarya Rai’s house,” said Nisha Sharma, a girl whose recently got engaged.
Rajesh Sharma, an accountant with a private firm got the photographs from one of his office colleagues.
“I have used Abhishek’s veil lifting picture on my personal computer and official computer’s desktop. I just loved the joy on Abhishek’s face. Watching the couple performing puja at the temple was one of the most captivating moments for me. I wish I could have watched the entire function as a guest,” said Rajesh.
The special wedding invite had been sent to just 200 close friends. The three-day wedding function was organized at “Prateeksha”, the Bachchan home in Mumbai.
