A traditional doli brings Aishwarya to Abhishek’s house
(1 votes, average: 1 out of 5)After the three-day long celebrations that marked the wedding of the Bollywood stars Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, the bride today bid a farewell to her house and reached Bachchan’s bungalow ‘Prateeksha’.
Aishwarya was seated on a traditional ‘doli’ (palanquin) as she left her house at La Mer but had to shift to a car to escape the prying eyes of the media.
Emotional Aishwarya bid farewell to her parents and was clad in a cream-coloured lehenga.
On Saturday evening, the couple got married in a traditional Hindu way and the ceremony was completely kept private with the guest list being limited to only hundred people and the media was completely shunned away.
Industrialists Anil Ambani, politician and close friend of Amitabh Bachchan Amar Singh, Goldie Behl, Sonali Bendre and Kirron Kher were present at the occasion.
