Jade Goody arrives in India
British reality TV star Jade Goody, who kicked off an international race row over her treatment of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty in Celebrity Big Brother is on a visit to India.
Goody, who arrived today, is staying in a five star hotel here.
“She has instructed us not to divulge her travel plans to the media,” a spokesperson of the hotel told PTI.
Goody, whose face was splattered across the national media for two weeks following the racism row, went out for a stroll in the national capital, sat for some time in the hotel lobby, without anyone recognising her.
Three companions are accompanying Goody who is on a four-day visit, the spokesman said. She has had no visitors so far.
She “angrily” refused to take calls from the media when contacted at her room.
