Actor Vijay Arora passes away
Actor and cinematographer Vijay Arora, best known for his performance in the film ‘Yaadon ki Baraat’ today passed away at his residence, his family said.
The 62-year-old actor had been suffering from an intestinal ailment for the past few months and passed away due to complications arising out of it, they said.
Arora has acted in over 50 films and was a cinematographer of over 20 movies but lingers in public memory for his performance in the 1973 hit ‘Yaadon ki Baraat’ featuring music by R D Burman in which he starred alongside actress Zeenat Aman.
A 1971 acting graduate of the Film and Television Institute of India, Arora featured in many television serials as well, notably in the Ramanand Sagar production of ‘Ramayana’ where he portrayed the character of Meghnath.
In 2001, he was seen in two serials `Lakeerein’ and `Talaash’.
Besides acting, Arora was also a cinematographer and had done films like the Amitabh Bachchan starrer `Viruddh’, ‘Vaastav’ starring Sanjay Dutt and ‘Dus’ which featured a bevy of actors including Abhishek Bachchan and Shilpa Shetty.
Arora is survived by wife and a son.

When i was watching film fare award 2008. In this film fare award it was shown Mr Vijay Arora passes away, really it was a shocking news for me. In the Feb 2008 one year will be completing for his death. Mr. Arora will be remembered everbody for Yadon ki Barat. But sir i would like to know his back history viz residence and about his family etc.

alsow my mother is a great fan of vijai..she was the one who tell my about the mnovie Yaadon ki Baraat…she tell my that when she was a child 10 year old she was crazy about the movie….and she ask my if i can help her to see the movie again….and i search on the internet and i found him….but i alsow se the movie again when i was 10 year old on the tv….i so sorry….and again sory for my language
