Parzania releasing tomorrow

Director Rahul Dholakia’s film “Parzania”, based on post-Godhra riots, will not be released in cinema halls in Gujarat tomorrow even as it hits the theatres in other parts of the country.

Dholakia, who is also the distributor of the film, told PTI tonight that he was still negotiating with theatre owners in Gujarat for release of the film.

However, he hoped “Parzania”, starring Naseeruddin Shah among others, would be released in Gujarat soon.

The story of the film is based on the real life story of the Parsi couple, Dholakia’s neighbour, which loses its son in the riots in Ahmedabad.
