Warrant issued against Jackie Shroff
(No Ratings Yet)A local court today issued a non- bailable arrest warrant against Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff after he failed to appear before it for a case related to the dishonouring of a cheque.
The warrant was issued by Judicial Magistrate R K Batham in response to a complaint by film financier Mahendra Singh Bedi, who said he had given over Rs two lakh to Shroff for a film.
The cheque given by Shroff in lieu of this financing was dishonoured, following which Bedi filed a case in the court here last year.
The court had earlier issued a bailable warrant against the actor.
The court fixed February 3 as the next date of hearing in the case.
