Pooja Bhatt talks about talent hunt shows
(1 votes, average: 1 out of 5)Talent hunt programmes on television provide a platform to the aspiring youths who want to make a career in the film industry, actress and film maker Pooja Bhatt said today.
“Such platforms were not available earlier and these days the talent hunt shows like Zee Cinestars definitely provide a good opportunity to the youths as they are managed by industry professionals including directors and choreographers,” she told reporters on the occasion of final selection of Idea Zee Cinestars programme here.
Asked about the future of candidates selected through such shows, she said it depends on their performance in the industry. But definitely the kind of opportunity was not available earlier, said Pooja, one of the judges for Zee Cinestars.
The programme will shortlist 60 contestants from different cities and finally select two promising couples who would be given an opportunity to act in a film likely to be produced by the Zee, she said.
Referring to her upcoming projects, Pooja said she is working on film “Dhokha” (betrayal) related to minorities in which she would be launching a Kashmiri youth, Muzzammil Ibrahim.
