Sharukh KhanShah Rukh Khan, who has remained as the undisputed King Khan of Bollywood for a decade, today turned 41 and the residents of Kolkata used this opportunity for unveiling the one of its kind museum, dedicated to King Khan.

The museum named ‘SRK: The God In Many Moods’ contains memorabilia, posters, books and other literature connected to the superstar’s life.

The Shah Rukh Khan Fan Club in the city has been growing and has significantly contributed to the setting up of this museum, which is situated in a three room flat on Bangur Avenue in North Kolkata.

Arnab Roy, secretary of the Shah Rukh Khan Fan Club said that the superstar himself promised him to send memorabilia from films like ‘Main Hoon Na’, ‘Paheli’ and the recently released hit movie ‘Don’.

The fans are now eagerly awaiting to receive the sunglasses that the actor wears in his recently released movie ‘Don’.

“We Kolkatans will be receiving those sunglasses that our Badshah has donned in Don, ” said Deepak Yadav, one of the members of the Fan Club.

The museum besides having a life-sized statue of the superstar wearing a golden crown also houses several vinyl posters, showing the actor in different poses from various films.

It also has DVDs of the documentary film made on the actor by Nasreen Munni Kabir and copies of his recently released biography by Mushtaq Sheikh called ‘Still Reading Khan’.

The fans are now waiting for the star to confirm whether he would be available to formally inaugurate the archives sometime in January next year.
