MB Motion Pictures to promote talented directors
M B Motion Pictures Limited, set up on being inspired by renowned director Madhur Bhandarkar, said it intends to promote other filmmakers as well to nurture talent in the field.
“It is true that we are impressed with Madhur Bhandarkar but we also intend to promote other directors under this banner,” Nirang Desai, Chief Executive Officer of M B Motion Pictures Limited, told PTI.
Desai, who is also a business head of Percept Picture Company, said “There is huge shortage of talented actors and directors which we want to make up for.” “There are so many talented people who need to be groomed and nurtured,” he added.
The banner is the executive producer of Madhur Bhandarkar movie “Traffic Signal” scheduled for release in next January.
The company will also be executive producer for Bhandarkar’s next production, based on “fashion”, to be produced with UTV.
“Before the project on fashion, we have another movie planned that would be entirely produced by M B Motion Pictures,” Desai said.
“Through this company we are taking forward our relationship with Madhur who is a producer-friendly director,” Desai said.

its good that madhur bhandarkar sir is doing something for the talented directors but there are some young and very talented actors like me who are not getting any break because they lack mercedes and high fi dressing sense they look normal people but are laden with a lot of potential i think they should not be avoided if madhur bhandarkar sir really wants to develope this industry then he needs to pick up one of the best talents and not just any star
