BSNL releases music of S D Burman, Pankaj Mullick
(No Ratings Yet)Paying rich tributes to music legends S D Burman and Pankaj Kumar Mullick, the Bharatiya Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) today released two music CDs of the composers to mark their centenary celebrations this year.
The CDs, a compilation of 40 selected songs of the two music maesteros, were released by Tagore music exponent Suchitra Mitra at a function here.
This was the second music venture of BSNL, the first being the release of a music CD of noted singer Juthika Roy last year.
Calcutta Telephones Chief General Manager S K Chakraborty indicated that the BSNL would like to launch more such ventures in future to honour the legendary artistes.
Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandir principal Swami Tyagarupananda was the chief guest at the function.
