Mona Singh wins ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ contest

Television star Mona Singh, famous for her role as Jassi in “Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin”, brushed aside stiff challenge from Shveta Salve to win Sony’s celebrity dance competition “Jhalak Dikhla Jaa” Friday night.
Mona was selected as the victor by judges Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Farah Khan and Shilpa Shetty.
Mona, trained by Toby Fernandes, won Rs.5 million for her effort.
The show had eight contestants.
