Murli Sharma struck by numerology

Don’t be surprised if actor Murli Sharma, who is known for his negative roles in Bollywood, undergoes a name change or a spelling change, as he is the latest to be smitten by the numerology bug.

At a recent party, he bumped into well-known numerologist Sanjay Jumani and they engaged in a serious conversation. Apparently, Jumani loved Murli’s work in films like “Main Hoon Na” and “Apaharan”.

“My friend Sumit Raghavan came and told me Sanjay wanted to meet me. I’d heard a lot about Sanjay but this was the first time I was meeting him. He told me amazing things about my work. It was really flattering. And yes, he did advice me on my name’s spelling”, said Murli.

Murli had undergone a name change earlier when he went to London for a film shoot. He preferred being called Lee.

“Well, that was because the phirangs (foreigners) there couldn’t pronounce Murli. So I made it Lee for the 20 days I was there.”
