Announcing this at a press conference here today, Malaysian Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor told reporters that after the filming of the yet-to-be-released Shahrukh Khan flick - DON, in the country, the Malaysian government has decided to promote more filming expeditions.
“The Malaysian government is extremely pleased by the way in which the country’s scenic beauty and excellent infrastructure has been projected in the movie DON. Thus, we would like to facilitate and assist film producers, particularly from South India, to film at Malaysia,” he said.
Mansor is on his maiden visit to India, to promote bilateral tourism in connection with the golden jubilee celebrations of the country in 2007.

The single language system and the low cost education system will be promoted among Indians, in an effort to send their children to study in Malaysia.
Referring to the visa on arrival scheme for tourists visiting Malaysia, Mansor said the number of entry points to the country, which was six at present, could be increased.
