Director Partho Mitra in search of a good actress

Director Partho Mitra, who started his career with Ekta Kapoor’s “Koi Aap Sa”, is scouting for a powerful actress to play the central character in his next film “Khat”.

Mitra had said he was keen on signing Kajol to play the lead in his woman-oriented film, but it seems things didn’t work out between them hence he is still searching for an actress, reports Bollywood Trade.

“Khat”, according to Mitra, is a woman-centric suspense thriller spread over two different periods.

In the meantime, Mitra rubbishes rumours that he was signed by Ekta’s banner for their next film.
