Bollywood, TV popularising Hindi: HM
(No Ratings Yet)Bollywood and television channels have contributed a lot in popularising Hindi, Home Minister Shivraj Patil today said.
At a Hindi Diwas function here, he said Hindi film industry had placed an unparalleled role in popularising the language and TV channels too were playing an important role.
Patil spoke about the need to keep Hindi language simple and even made a candid admission that at times he had to take the help of officials to make out file notings.
He said that there was some amount of difficulty in use of Hindi in offices in ministries, though it was not the case in Parliament or most of the State legislatures.
