Dia Mirza and Sanjay Gupta : Just friends or more?

It is better to be discreet than to jump to fancy conclusions. But the fact remains that Dia and Sanjay have been “very good friends” for some time now.
Dia was catching much attention at a party recently held at Gupta’s swanky Versova villa for the launch of his latest production Shootout At Lokhandwala .
The film, to be directed by Apoorva Lakhia , has Dia playing the role of a journalist.
Interestingly, Apoorva and Dia have been linked in the past. On the other hand, Gupta has been linked with actresses like Anupama Verma and Sameera Reddy .
‘Shootout At Lokhandwala’ is inspired from a real life incident of shootout between gangsters and cops in Mumbai’s Lokhandwala complex. Dia’s role is based on real-life journalist Minty Tejpal, who covered the incident in 1992. Although Minty was a male, Gupta changed the character to a female journalist to have some “feminine glamour” in the predominantly male star cast.
Shooting for the movie began on August 1. The movie’s other stars Vivek Oberoi and Neha Dhupia were also present at the late-night party at Gupta’s villa last week.
Dia was spotted yapping away continuously with Gupta. She even cajoled Gupta’s nephew and rocked the little boy to sleep.
There has been no formal confirmation of the relationship by either Dia or Gupta. Both have said on previous occasions that they are “very good friends”. Sources close to Gupta prefer to keep mum about the subject, leading to the speculation that something more may be cooking between the actress and the filmmaker.
By the way, Dia will also act in two more films by Gupta.
