Delhii Heights Preview

The production house, 'Sivaji Ganesan Productions' is well known for the flicks like 'Amar Deep' (1958), and 'Rakhi' (1962). Then this house turned face to Tamil filmdom and churned a long list of films there. Almost for half a century, this abode has been in entertainment business. This is undoubtedly quite a long time. Now the production house once again returns to Hindi cinema with a movie titled 'Delhii Heights' starring sex symbol the very gorgeous Neha Dhupia, Jimmy Shergill, Om Puri and Simone Singh in the lead.

Neha Dhupia, the gal once known only for showing her flesh in abundance, have now turned cinegoers' thoughts to another level. The level, which reveals that she is not a sexy lass with curves to make men lust for rather it now depicts herself as an actress of class who can hit her audiences' souls with well-delivered balls. The proofs she has given in the flicks like 'Sheesha', 'Teesri Aankh' (though a brief role but she enacted it with aplomb) and 'Chup Chup Ke'. She proved the film fraternity, critics and the hoi polloi wrong who all were of the view that she only had sexy body to attract the filmmakers to make movies with her. Today when a filmmaker, goes to her with a script in hand, knows the dexterity of the actress.

Jimmy Shergill, the actor, who from the very beginning showed the world that he had come to stay in Bollywood. Although he gave many flops but what made him stable in the industry was his good acting skills. If the actor wants to have a strapping place in Hindi filmdom then he would have to very carefully decide that with whom to work with. He should go with good banners and healthy scripts. This is where he has been lacking.

Om Puri, the intelligent actor of international repute, is an artiste who always lures his audience with his marvelous acting shows. Whether it is serious acting or a comedy, the actor raises the spirits. He is a man of perfection since he is a veteran now.

Simone Singh, the pretty-innocent face girl from the topography of TV and films, presents acting in a manner where the audience just gets caught in the magic. Pick up any of her previous works on TV and films (she worked very less in Bollywood but much on TV), the upshot is ready to give you answers.

Story of 'Delhii Heights' is not novel but with these brilliant performers on the fiesta, expectations feed the kitty that the walk with the show would be a treat. But…. the time is the king, it will decide the fate of this carnival.

Storyline:

A high-rise apartment in Delhi called 'Delhii Heights' where Abi (Jimmy Shrgill) and Suhana (Neha Dhupia) who are married, live there. They work in rival companies. The film talks about how their professional lives affect their personal ones. A fun-loving Sikh Timmy (Om Puri) also lives in that apartment with his better half Ruby (Kamini Khanna) and two daughters. Another married couple resides there — Bobby (Rohit Roy) and Saima (Simone Singh). Bobby is a flirt and this his wife knows well. Then there is Lucky (Vivek Shauq), a cricket bookie. A hilarious character he is. In that apartment, there are four boys who are always after girls and pull each other's legs.
This all makes 'Delhii Heights' a full dose of entertainment package to watch.

This enterprise is the production of Prabhu. Anand Kumar has written and directed it. The star cast includes the names like Jimmy Shergill, Neha Dhupia, Om Puri, Simone Singh, Rohit Roy, Vivek Shauq and Kamini Khanna. Rabbi Shergill is making a debut as a music director and lyricist with this flick. Sanyukta Chawla writes screenplay and dialogue whereas Aatish Parmar is the cinematographer. Remo choreographs the songs and Action Prakash dolls up the stunts.
