Campaign against Aamir Khan no impact on Titan sales

There was no “repercussion” of any sort on the sales of Titan brand of watches, due to the recent campaign against its brand ambassador, Aamir Khan, a company official claimed today.

“The boycott of some products endorsed by Aamir Khan in Gujarat and some neighbouring States, over Narmada issue, has no repercussion on Titan,” Ajoy Chawla, Business Head, Titan, told reporters here.

Chawla announced an exciting price-off offer, which allowed customers to save money from August 14 to Sept five.

‘Titan Lao Khushian Pao,’ offers 15 to 30 per cent off on all Titan watches and can be availed at all World of Titan showrooms,multibrand outlets and Time zone outlets across the country except in Kerala, he said.

The offer was in line with the company’s strategy as a market leader to increase penetration of watches and encourage multiple watch ownership, Chawla claimed.

However, the offer would not be valid on Xylys and Nebula brands, Chawla said.
