Sonu Nigam’s acts of generosity!!

Little acts of kindness make the world a better place, they say… but the big one’s aren’t so bad either, as one lucky cab driver was about to find out. When singer extraordinaire, Sonu Nigam was in Australia for the Commonwealth Games, he was ferried about the place by a cab driver, Ben, with whose efficiency he was exceptionally pleased. As is often the custom, driver and passenger chatted a great deal as the miles whizzed past their vehicle and somewhere during their conversation, the Ben told Sonu that he was saving up so that he could go to Germany in order to watch the World Cup.When it was time for them to part ways, Sonu paid the cab-fare as is the custom and also gave the cabbie a tip. One would think there was nothing out of the ordinary about that, except that the tip was enough for the cab driver to buy his ticket to Germany. Needless to say, Sonu, in his characteristic generosity of spirit, was delighted when an overjoyed Ben called him to say that he was having the best time of his life in Germany.
