Rimi Sen’s Racist Comments
(No Ratings Yet)There is something about Rimi Sen which really grates on my nerves and I can’t fathom what she’s doing in Bollywood. For some strange reason she is considered lucky and now is always a part of any comedy film. Here is another reason to dislike her now as the actress has been in the news for her racist comments! Such ignorance is unpardonable from a successful educated Bollywood star! This is what she said about Nithin Sethi, who directed her latest release Golmaal:
“I play a sweet and beautiful girl in the film. The best thing that I like about the film is that though it has four heroes, I am the only heroine. Rohit Shetty is amazing as a director. He can make even a black African look pretty.”
Pretty appalling isn’t it? Times like these I wish I can disassociate with Bollywood! The film now may be boycotted in and the British African group Ligali has openly condemned her.
Well I do hope Rimi Sen learns a lesson her, though it’s highly unlikely. Some people are not meant to be enlightened.
