Hearing On Salman Khan's Plea Adjourned
According to the latest buzz, a local Mumbai court deferred till September 30 the hearing on eight criminal complaints filed by Salman Khan against directors of Cinevistas Ltd. It is learnt Salman who had acted in the film Garv – Pride and Honour, released two years ago was promised Rs 26.42 lakh as his professional fees. Accordingly, eight cheques were issued to him under various denominations but they were dishonoured by the bank with remarks 'payment stopped by drawer.'
Salman filed separate complaints on bouncing of eight cheques in a magistrate's court on September 19 last year.
The matter came up before a magistrate on Tuesday but the hearing was adjourned, as both sides were not present.
