‘Dilli ki sardi’ babe Amrita Arora is all smiles for an ‘item’ number. She sees it as an added advantage and has no issues whatsoever. “Firstly I detest the word ‘item’ itself. I have zero reservations as far as cameos and such songs are concerned. I see it as an added advantage, rather a bonus. I think it’s great fun and gives you good exposure. Aishwarya Rai did it; Shahrukh and Malaika have done it. Even Robert-de-Nero and Angelina Jolie have done it. People here are very hypocritical,” asserts Amu.And did she always want to be an actress? “I love Indian cinema. I have always wanted to be an actress. Ever since I was a kid, I dreamt of becoming an actress. I didn’t know how and when but I wanted to be one. I think comedy is my forte and it really excites me,” adds Amrita.
As for her wish list she says, “I obviously want to work with Shahrukh, Salman, Yash Chopra and Karan Johar. The list is endless,” she signs off.
